Finding Myself in Fashion

Signed first-edition, first-printing hardcover of Finding Myself in Fashion by Canadian fashion journalist and television personality Jeanne Beker, published by Viking Canada in 2011. Beker is particularly recognized for her long association with FashionTelevision and her work as a fashion editor, interviewer and author.

In this illustrated memoir, Beker reflects on the personal and professional turns of her life in fashion, including international reporting, memorable encounters within the industry, magazine work, television appearances, clothing ventures, family life and relationships. Black-and-white photographs accompany the narrative and provide a visual record of her career and personal history.

This copy is signed in ink by Jeanne Beker on the title page with an “xo!” notation and no named recipient. The copyright page states “First published 2011” and displays a complete number line from 1 through 10, confirming the first printing.

Very Good overall, with visible edge and corner wear, light creasing, rubbing and surface scuffs to the dust jacket. The jacket is now protected in a removable clear plastic cover. Faint blue ink marks or scribbling are present on the copyright page. The representative illustrated interior spread shown is clean, legible and securely bound.
