Blood Eagle

Signed first UK edition and first printing of Blood Eagle by Craig Russell, published in hardcover by Hutchinson in 2005. The complete number line includes 1, and the copyright page gives ISBN 0091800145 for the hardback edition.

Russell has flat signed the title page in blue ink, with no dedication visible. The front dust jacket also retains an “Autographed Copy” sticker. Blood Eagle was Russell's debut novel and introduced Hamburg detective Jan Fabel in a dark crime thriller combining a serial-murder investigation with Viking ritual, history and political intrigue.

The Jan Fabel series later received notable recognition: Russell became the only non-German recipient of the Hamburg Police's Polizeistern, and he won the Crime Writers’ Association's 2008 Dagger in the Library for his body of work.

Seller-graded Very Good, with minor visible shelf and edge wear to the dust jacket. The representative author-biography page shown appears clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is now protected in a removable clear plastic cover.
