Death on the Rocks

Death on the Rocks is an English-language mystery novel by acclaimed Canadian crime writer Eric Wright. This is the June 1999 first edition and first printing issued by Thomas Dunne Books, an imprint of St. Martin’s Press, with the complete number line ending in 1. ISBN 978-0-312-20525-6.

The novel features private investigator Lucy Trimble, who is hired to identify a stranger apparently following her client. What begins as a seemingly straightforward surveillance case develops into a more complicated investigation involving secrets from the client’s past. Wright wrote several Toronto-area detective series and was selected as the Crime Writers of Canada’s 2016 Grand Master in recognition of his career and contribution to Canadian crime fiction.

This copy is flat signed by Eric Wright in blue ink on the title page, with no personalized inscription visible. A yellow “Autographed Copy” sticker is affixed to the front of the dust jacket.

Hardcover with dust jacket, graded Very Good by the seller. The jacket shows light edge and corner wear, including a small area of wear or creasing near the lower-right rear edge. It has now been placed in a removable clear plastic protective cover. The photographed title and copyright pages are intact and legible. The book will be carefully packed to help protect it during transit.
