Yesterday's Weather
A signed first Canadian edition and first printing of Yesterday's Weather by Anne Enright, published in hardcover by McClelland & Stewart in 2008. The complete number line on the copyright page retains both the 1 and 08, identifying the first printing of this Canadian edition.
Enright personally inscribed the title page “To Sean,” signed her name, and dated the inscription 27.X.2008, adding “best wishes.” This is a genuine personalized author inscription rather than a previous owner's signature or a flat-signed copy.
Yesterday's Weather gathers stories written across nearly two decades, offering incisive portraits of marriage, parenthood, intimacy, disappointment, and social change in Ireland. It was published shortly after Enright received the 2007 Man Booker Prize for her novel The Gathering, an achievement also noted on the dust jacket.
The hardcover and dust jacket are otherwise in Very Good condition. The dust jacket has two discoloured/water-stained spots along the top edge of the front panel, as shown in the photographs. The jacket is now housed in a removable clear plastic protective cover. The book will be carefully packed to help protect it in transit.
Current price, shipping and checkout are managed securely on eBay.
